John Wagnon is the minister of New Discovery Christian Church.  He holds a Degree in Bible (1993) and a Master’s Degree in N.T. Studies (1999) from Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, TN. John ministered at First Christian Church in Harriman, TN for over ten years before feeling called of God to start a new church in the growing Hernando area. New Discovery started in John’s home on May 6, 2003 and great things have been happening ever since.  John is excited about what God has been doing with this new church and would like to invite you to be a part of this exciting journey!

Chadd Hoyer is the music and youth minister at New Discovery. He attended Ozark Christian College in Joplin, MO and moved to Mississippi to help with the worship team at Christview  Christian Church  in  Southaven.  Before coming to New Discovery, he was a member of the praise team at East Win Christian Church in Memphis.  Chadd is a great musician oozing with talent but more importantly he has a magnetic personality and a sincere love for the Lord. Chadd is married to Charity, and they have one daughter named Kayla.  The Hoyers are a great asset to ND.

Wendy Wagnon John’s wife, Wendy, is the Children’s Minister of New Discovery.  Wendy received her Elementary Education Degree from Johnson Bible College in Knoxville, TN and her Master’s Degree in Education from Tennessee Tech in Cookeville, TN. Wendy has taught school for 11 years and loves working with children! John and Wendy have three children: Javan, Eden, and Wes.
